iPhone 11 Pro New iPhone Pro Max not accepting aftermarket cable-won't charge or recognize

So, I upgraded my XS Max to 13.0 and had NO issues with this cable being recognized. The Pro Max neither recognizes it as connected nor does it charge.

Apple OEM cable works just fine. This is for the car where I prefer a stronger longer cable. This cable works fine on all other phones as well.

Annoying. Anyone else run into this yet?

I have mine currently charing with one from Amazon without issue.

Just tested mine and it’s working fine with the non genuine cables I have in the house.

This is why the lightning port must go. Hopefully 2020.
