Tomorrow morning on KTLA Channel 5 Kurt the Cyber Guy will reveal the new iphone.
He usually comes on about 7:00am. If anyone in CA has a chance to watch it, you should check it out. I'll be looking for it so I'll keep you posted.

i saw the same commercial twice now so I thought Id let you all know.

From what he said, the phone is more thin. It still had a glossy back side from what I saw. Im anxious to see it.
 
Right... so some dude I've never heard of before will be revealing a new iPhone before Apple has even made any comments about it. :eek:

BTW, April fools was yesterday.
 
I'll keep an eye out for it, although, I'm pretty sure it's a joke. There's no way some B team news channel would have the new iPhone and be able to talk about it before Apple does.

I live in CA, with Time Warner cable, so i'll tell you anything they say.

Its not an April Fools joke. I saw it twice on a commercial today. Now wether the news was playing an April fools joke i dont know but I hope not. We'll see tomorrow.
 
Probably referring to the Palm Pre as the new "iPhone" of phones.


Until the actual new iPhone that is...
 
lol I was just giving a heads up to people bt relaying the message of what I saw.
 
READ IT.. it says he will be looking at the PALM PRE and comparing it side by side with the "soon to be refreshed iphone 3G"

So basically hes going to compare the palm with the 3G, even though the 3G will be replaced POSSIBLY soon

ya, comparing an unreleased phone, against 3.0 ... not the new hardware
 
I've seen the TechGuy a couple of times while in the KTLA area in Southern California and he's pretty much up to speed on most things, but this one seems a bit misleading for MR members. I did like the TrapCall episode though....:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
 
Maybe he's just gonna sum up all the news/rumors we've all been hearing for last couple months about the next iPhone's specs, features, etc.... and obviously he's gonna rely a lot on what sure is coming in the OS 3.0..... then, he's gonna put all together in comparison with what's sure coming in the Palm Pre...

that's what i think....;)
 
Dude, before you start a stupid rumor, GET your fact together. He was just comparing the Palm with the iPhone 3G with the new 3.0 software. :mad:
