So,
Besides cruising for apps once I get the iphone on th 19th...what else do I need to do?

I have gmail and a gmail calender...it would be great if when I checked the email on a computer or the phone it would register that I checked it on the other...same with updating a calender... is that how it works? How do I set it up?
What is PUSH exactly anyhow?

Recommendations on ways to set this thing up? To do's?

For apps:
I am thinking about a
few games
epocrates, ekg, medcalulator for the medicine part
nice alarm clock app
pandora

I know there are a million, but any crucial ones to get?

Cheers,
d

ps. When an app is updated to a new version or things are fixed (bugs, need additions...) do you need to rebuy? Or does your iphone upload new versions of the app as the developer fixes things?

IF you're using a Mac, add all your contacts with the numbers, ect. into the address book on Mac OS X. That way when you get your iPhone, it'll sync this all automatically onto your phone and you won't have to do it on the iPhone itself.

And if your iPhone ever gets lost, at least you'll have a backup on your computer. Yes, it's pain, but it's a one time deal.

Also, yes you can do this on the iPhone itself, but I find it faster to do it on a computer.

I

I should of mentioned that I am rocking a Lenovo- running vista.
(which I actually have no problems with:))

Anyhow, is there a program on vista run machines to back up, work with the iphone?

How do I match goggle accounts with the iphone?
and all my other ?'s

thanks so much folks

edit: just saw the youtube answer above...cheers

anyother things I need to do?
