iPhone 12 New iPhone seems to have screwed up my messages

I upgraded from my old iPhone SX to an iPhone 12 last week, and now I am having problems with my messages.

My iPhone shows no message history for most of the entries.

Even worse, my Messages all seem to go to my iPhone but not my Mac mini or my iPad.

I didn't change my phone number, and the iCloud account on the iPhone is the same as the other devices.

Messages is turned on under iCloud on both my Mac mini and iPhone.

Please help!

Maybe one day apple will get iCloud working properly, I’ll stick to my Mac for iPhone backups 🧐💻

Maybe erase it and do another restore from the last back up? See if that helps.
