New iPhone synched and changed to iPod touch settings

I just bought a new Iphone 3gs a week ago and when I synched it with my Itunes it changed all settings to the ones I had on my iPod touch. How do I restore the original iPhone settings, I already tried to restore on the iTunes but it doesn't bring the other settings back. I'll appreciate your help!

Restore and setup as new and then sync.
