In the Newly announced iOS 5, Apple integrated the red-eye reduction to the Camera app. However, the existing LED flashlight on the iPhone 4 is not power enough to cause a red effect. Therefore, I was thinking there might be a xenon flashlight on the next generation of iPhone. Otherwise, the red-eye reduction feature would be pointless to be integrated into the camera app.

What do you guys think?

I get red eye in some pics. It just depends how close people are and how dark. I really hope it will work on green eye with pictures of my dogs, that is the worst.

Would absolutely love it. I remember all the good times I've had with my phones that have Xenon flashes, but then all of them were like proper camera phones. :D
