New iphone17 pro max pics produce upload error at Mac Rumors

Folks, I’m having. Heck of a time trying to figure out why this is occurring. I snap a pic, want to share it here and I consistently get this error

Now the irony is not lost on me tha this uploaded fine haha - it’s only with real life photos. I assume the photos are too big as it states so but I can’t figure out how to make them smaller or tell the iPhone to take smaller resolution pics.

Anyone have any guidance with fixing this?

Yeah, I know I need to charge my phone lol

LOL Ok, I think I figured it out. I already had chosen HEIC format but I now see I have an option between 12 and 24mp. Ive rolled it back to 12, so hopefully that keeps things small enough for MR to use. I rather like the 24mp though. I guess I'll have to remember to roll back to 12 if I want to post a pic now.
