anyone else put the new 11' iLife?

for me it has run like complete crap. its is slow and laggy, and actually causes my imac to temporarily freeze up, and slow down while running the beach ball. ive never seen anything make a mac act like windows before. anybody else been seeing any of these problems?

Ran fine once, iPhoto 11 miss

I upgrade to Ilife 11 and installed the entire suite. Iphoto ran fine after install and converted the library. Once the machine was restarted, iPhoto now indicates that the library is not compatible with iPhoto. iPhoto Library manager shows the file, 13.8 G and 6478 pics, yet iphoto won't open. I am now screwed. A year of scanning old photos is hosed simply because of a software upgrade. Any suggestions.

Quite a few users (though likely a small proportion) have reported library issues with the upgrade.I believe these have been fixed with a patch - so have you checked the iPhoto is fully up to date.

Second, or more properly first, do you have a backup. Just in case?

Third, have you checked the support forums in Apple / registered a problem with them?
