I saw this on the ipod page:

Up to 20 hours of battery life
The 60GB iPod offers up to 20 hours of music playback between charges, and the 30GB offers 14 hours. The iPod battery can be charged up to 80 percent capacity in 2 hours; a full charge takes 4 hours.

20 hours? Can anyone give real life feedback on this estimate?

ilounge's top ten things to know about the new ipod for techies measured video playback, got 3 hours out of the 30GB, which apple says goes for 2 hours. that's def. a good sign. give 'em a few days to do a full-scale review, then direct your browser to ilounge to read a review. they do some pretty intense battery tests, as you'll soon see. hope this helps!
