My iPod 5 is only 4 months old & has started to freeze & crash since I upgraded to ios 8.2 what's with that?
 
Well, I upgraded something!


I opened "software update" and clicked on install update. I'm technically challenged :confused:sorry

It might only be 4 months old but the hardware design is 2+ years old. You could try disabling some features on the iPod such as messages, nike, etc (don't have mine on me at present). I turned off a number of these, which I don't use and speed has improved.

It's still crashing. What will the motion button do? I have to be able to build up speed so I can kick butt on Angry Birds! (lol) kiddin ya:D Thanks for the "411." :cool:

1) Close all apps that are running.
2) Do a complete power off shutdown then restart.

If that doesn't work, the best I can think of is contact an Apple store :(.
