iPod New iPod Nano 8GB charger port?

Does anyone know if Apple has retained the same charging port on the new nano's? I'd like to know because I have the FM remote and the universal dock w/ remote (for the now "old" nano) and am wondering if I should get rid of them.

Ipod won't change it's dock adapters.. (at least not yet)

it kinda beats the whole universal dock idea
