I bought an iPod nano from the apple store about 2 weeks ago, and noticed today that when moving my finger along the clickweel I could sometimes feel a popping/clicking motion. I figured out that what I was feeling was the center button rotating: when I put my index finger on the center button (alone) and rotate, I can move the button ~45 degrees left and right before it hits something and stops rotating. Is this normal behavior for a nano, or has something broken underneath the button?

Definately not normal behavior. I have a Nano and the center button wiggles a little bit but mine is 7 months old and it is such a tiny issue which is probably from wear and tear. Anyway, either call Apple or take it into an Apple Store and they will probably fix it or replace it.

My nanos center button wiggles a little bit too, any chance i can get it replaced by apple care, or instead send them $50 to get a video? :D

WOW 45 degrees...mine may move a bit, but definitely not that much. I'd take it to a local apple store.
