Not sure if anyone has posted this or not by you can save images from the web with 2.0. All you need to do us press the image for a few seconds. There will be a pop up box asking of you want to save the image. I haven't synced yet, but I'm assuming that it'll go into iPhoto.

this is also possible in mail app, if you have an email with multiple images in just tap on an image and you get an option to save that image or all the images attached to email.

My brother got the SDK early on (lucky), so he had this feature months ago. When I got my iPod Touch and discovered that it couldn't do this, I was SO disappointed. Thank goodness for the 2.0 update!!!
 
Can I buy the update before I sync my ipod touch for the first time? Since the file size I would like to download it and have it ready for my ipod touch. Should I just wait and sync the ipod touch first then download the update?

Did everyone know that if you press the home button twice whilst locked you get the music player controls, i only found this out the other day.

That was a feature released before 2.0, but it IS a very handy one! I don't know how you lived without it! :D
