iPod touch new iPod touch and software 2.0

Hey,

I heard that the new software update for ipod touch is coming out on July 11th, or something close to that.

Also, this year if you are a student and you get a new mac, then you can get a free ipod touch. Does that mean that, if I get my mac after July 11th, then the new iPod touch that comes with the new mac will have the new software updated, and I don't need to pay for the upgrade fee?

If you receive your iPod touch on or after the day that 2.0 is released, either your iPod will have the Upgrade, or your iTunes account will be credited the Upgrade charge.
