iPod New ipod ??

Hey!
With the apple showcase in San Fransisco on the 7th to the 11th of August, do you think Apple will showcase and release a new iPod? Also, if they did announce a new one, would it be available immediately?

No, I don't think we will see it then. The event is for developers, so there more interested in the new OS, Mac Pros and MacBook Pros.

I think the Paris Expo (September 12th) it a good day for that.

It doesn't end until October 7th in Europe, but on the other hand we didn't get it until August 1st.

I'm debating whether I should wait or not, I'm thinking about buying a MacBook Pro which will probably be updated at WWDC, and at the same time buy an iPod because of this offer. But it's definitely due for an update, which makes me think I should wait. The only thing I want is better battery life, otherwise I think it's fine (if they make the models 40/80 GB I won't complain though).
