damn, now the store is offline again

i guess i checked at just the right time. i went back again to see if any new pics were there and the "we'll be back soon" post it note was there.

I guess someone forgot to put in place the redirection for a moment.

Anyway the specs are pretty much what was expected (i wish id taken a screengrab now)

1ghz and 1.25ghz G4s.
DDR2700 RAM
internal bluetooth
airport extreme
USB2
no firewire 800
GF4MX or GFFX5200 graphics cards

not sure if the pricing was different, cause i've never looked at UK pricing before. (i'm from australia)

did anyone else see this?

Yeah, I was about to post this...

They are at the US store too now. but not the details page. Cinematic 3D graphics? Better graphics card maybe?

New iPods!! 20 and 40gb!

Not available to put in your shopping cart yet, but the graphic is there!

:) Don't feel bad...I just bought a 30gb a couple of weeks ago!

Dont have it man, but if i did no one would believe me. I got this images soon but no one believed me. I got the iPods first and i was able to see their specs, 10Gb/20/40. They have highlighted "New iPod Dock", but i dont see any reference to that.

Well, Apple caught on.

Someone really dropped the ball AGAIN this time, and he's going to get a kick in the balls from Apple, too.

I guess the guy who screwed up with the G5s got a break because Steve got a joke out of it, but this time, he's gone.

I took that screen capture *before* they took the store down.

yeah, I know...I was just checking again.

Funny, I could have sworn that all those posts about iMacs, etc., didn't exist before, but they seem to have come before my posts. And therefore, my posts look silly and redundant.

That's odd.

Anyway, the top level iMac is overpriced.

$2450
17-inch widescreen LCD
1.25GHz PowerPC G4
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra
64MB DDR video memory
1GB DDR333 SDRAM
160GB Ultra ATA hard drive
10/100BASE-T Ethernet
56K V.92 internal modem
Apple Pro Speakers
AirPort Extreme built-in
Bluetooth built-in

You would be MUCH better off getting a G5. You could get a FASTER, 1.6 GHz G5 for the same price (including a monitor, though not an Apple monitor).
