iPod New iPods Not In Stores Until Approximately 10/30

Just spoke to the folks at the Apple Store here in Charlotte... they're not expecting to get any of the new iPods in until October 30th or so (yes, I know that's a Sunday, but that's what she said).

Wow, thats a long time. Good thing I already ordered mine online...because I was going to go down to the store and buy it.

Makes sense. Hype it up before it hits the market. Also, it'll be cheaper to sell from the online store, wouldn't it?

I know I have said this a fair few times of late, but as I am going down to MacExpo London at the end of the month, that could be my first chance to see a working iPod with video. I work in a computer store with is an authorised apple retailer, so we usually get them in fairly quickly, but if apple stores themselves are quoting October 30th, not sure what chance we have. Just have to wait and see.

Yeah, I already ordered mine online... which means I now have my old 60 GB iPod Photo for sale.
