iPod new ipods on display at apple stores?

anyone been to a apple store lately...have you seen the new toys on display yet ?

They will be on display after September 7th, 2010, as the Keynote on Wednesday told us, that the new iPods will be available next week.

It seems that September 8th, Wednesday, is more likely to be the day that the new iPods will be released and displayed at the Apple Store.

thats the tricky thing, they always look different in real life. i cant wait for them to be in Australia, i will walk into the store, see them (maybe squeal) and then pick a colour and buy it.

Oh man, luck you! I just called my local Apple Store in excitement of your post. Unfortunately, they gave me the usual response everyone else gets, "They should be in sometime this week."

Did you see any new cases and/or screen protectors while you picked up your new iPod?

Was in the Glasgow store today. They were not on display but at least one of the display tables was missing from the shop floor. I presume it will be there tomorrow with some shiny new ipods wired to it.

I'm going tonight after work though so hopefully I'll be leaving with my new Nano.

Apple Store West County in St. Louis has them. All for demo and sale. Went in looking at the nano..WAY too small for a touch screen. Too small in the hand. Got the 8gb Touch.
