iPod touch New iTouch?

The expected changes are pretty minimal, although it seems that they will be introducing a white model.

There most likely will be a new ipod touch oct. 4th at the media event.
The real question is what will be new about it? I really hope apple engineers didnt sit on their butts for 10 months and did nothing.
I think the current rumors are bs, i think apple is going to come out with new specs in the ipod touch. They want more bussiness so they need a better product, i just hope that it has 3g, a5, 512 ram, and a better camera.

I think so. Unfortunantly it probably will have only minor changes. It will still be interesting to see what happens.

I'm guessing, no. Primarily because there is no such device as an iTouch. An iPod Touch, on the other hand, we can only hope...it would be due for an A5 chip. I may upgarde mine, if they do update it.

He was referring to the fact that it's an iPod touch, not an iTouch, although it's clearly stating in a sticky in this forum that it is against the rules to harrass people about it.
New Touch? I suppose they could make it thinner still, improve the cameras, increase the storage, lower the price, add NFC, and so on. If they did everything that could be done though, what would be left to change next year? No sense limiting future growth by selling everyone the perfect device today.
