Hi all,
Hope you will be able to help me as i am losing hair and sleep trying to solve this problem!
I just go the new ipod video 30G.
The problem that i have is:
> My old ipod (2nd or 3rd Gen 15 G) was formatted when i was still using a PC
> I know use a powermac (OS X software)
> When i loaded in my new video ipod, i also updated my itunes software to ver 6.02
> I still have many songs in my old ipod (that are not in my computer and i do not have the CDs anymore) that i need to transfer out - so i got the ipodrip software
> BUT when i plug in my old ipod now, it says that i need to ipdate the software and my only option to do so is to use the RESTORE FACTORY SETINGS one which will erase all my songs and data
Sorry if this issue has been discussed at length before. Am new to this site. Any help would be much appreciated!
Warm Regards,
Ian
