i just found out today that you can now Redem your itunes cards Directly on your iphone/ipod touch when you go into downloads you will see a redeem option type in the code and you know have your itunes credit on the store.

Now that is awesome since I like to limit my spending by buying $20 gift cards every month, if I run out I just wait to next month.

So...when you do this and then you go back to your laptop/desktop and sync again, does it then copy the songs/videos/whatever to your iTunes there?

Sorry if the question is lame but I'm new to this whole thing. I've never really used the iTunes store before and I've never had a gift card for it.

yes it will reconize you have songs from your ipod that are new and ask if you will like to copy them onto your computer note you can only download songs as of now.
