I don't really know if anyone cares, but Apple has released a fifth Jam Pack for GarageBand called Voices. I searched and couldn't find any news story, or post about this so I thought I might. What do you guys think?

yeah I don't know how long it's been out, it can't have been too long, can it?

music notation

I'm kinda new to using Garageband but does anyone know if there is a way to input musical notation on the musical score and have it played back?

You have to upgrade to logic to basically anything with sheet music. Print it, use it to make the song, edit the song, etc.

Cashgap,
Can you provide a description of the voices jam pack.

And what did iCreate magazine like about the voices jam pack?

Thanks,
GVDV

OK, I'll summarize but since I don't use it, I'll miss a lot.

1,500 royalty-free voice loops and 20 voice software instruments. Sound good, etc. Not as wide a variety of voices as they expected but all top-quality, polished, well-recorded, etc.

iCreate believes most folks would benefit more from production software, they believe competing voice loop packages (not mentioned) are a better value.

Exportable to Logic. Tempo can be altered.

Three stars.
