If there are any other iPhone owners that are thinking about buying the new ERA from Jawbone, think again.
I've been using a Jawbone Icon for 4 years and happy with the results. Thought it was time to upgrade based on the reviews only to find out after trying 2 different ERA's that the sound quality (tunnel like bass sound for people I call) is terrible.
Oddly enough when I made calls before upgrading to the latest ERA firmware the bass sound wasn't a problem. Once I upgraded the quality went downhill.
When I called Jawbone customer support to see if the new firmware was a known issue they told me, no, that the new ERA working with the iPhone 5s was a known issue. Hinted it may also apply to other iPhone models.
I asked how long before it's resolved and they had no clue. Needless to say I'll be returning the new ERA until this problem is resolved.
