New keyboard backlight color??

Hi!

Is it possible for all of you who already got the Penryn MBP to confirm that Apple changed the keyboard backlight from white to a bluish one?

What do you think about this change?

Is it actually the bluish color seen on the Apple site, or is that just a trick of the camera or something?

That looks like blue. It's always been a white-ish. The MacBook Air also has a similar colored backlight.

I have the new one and it looks the same to me. However, the one I was playing with at the Apple Store did seem to have a bluish tint. I'm not sure if it was a trick of he light, however, mine definitely appears to have the old backlight.

I'm looking at them both side by side (a 2.4Ghtz Merom and a 2.5Ghtz Penryn) and in the dark the backlighting is identical.. still that soft white its been for years.
