new keyboard issues

Hi Everyone,

I just replaced my keyboard on my macbook a1181 with a new one.
It has a slightly different format. now I can't get the keys to function properly.
very few will work.
How can I resolve this issue.

I had to delete a pref file to make the new keyboard work on mine. I think (not 100%) sure it was the file referenced here:

If you have lion, I think you have to hold the option key to get the the library file you need to delete. I tried to look for the specific instructions I used, but I can't fine it online anymore.
