Hi All,
I have a few Mac Pro's laying around decided to repurpose a 2008 mac pro that I got Yosemite running on a while back, I wanted to run Windows 10 and Linux Mint to see if it would work on this hardware, if you follow some advice and tutorials online what a pain in the ass and they don't always work I mean for instance trying to boot to a OS install USB drive or cd/dvd drive with windows or Linux some success's but nothing complete here's a work around I found that works or has worked for me, I used an old pc I had slapped a drive in it and installed Win10 put the drive in the Mac pro held the option key down and selected the Windows disk and it booted without issue everything works I did the same with Linux Mint and it too works fine, please keep in mind the Mac I'm using has a intel chip. so now I can run OSX Win10, Mint Linux.
Some of you probably already knew this or have tried it I just got a kick because now I can repurpose this, Mac.
