Hello all.. I'm new to this forum so I'm sorry if I don't do something right.. trying to get to grips with it all!

I updated to High Sierra last night and noticed when on the desktop there is a keyboard shortcut available to lock my MacBook. It reads '^ (cmd) and Q) but I've tried to do this but to no avail? Can anyone shed some light on this..?

Cheers :)

^ is the second button in the bottom from left to right on the keyboard, just two buttons away from the command button.

Press <ctrl> <cmd> <q>

All three together.
