I just got burned! I bought a Quicksilver Dual 867 on Ebay and it arrived with a non-working logic board. I am wondering where I can find a new logic board for sale for not too much cash. Any suggestions? How much should I expect to spend? Can I install it myself?

well wait a second. how do you know its the logic board. describe us your problem.

Repair shop said so

It did not boot or even light the screen. I took it to a Mac repair shop and they told me it was the logic board! They want to charge me $500+ and I'm just wondering if I have any options.

500+ sounds about right, youll have to find someone with one or try your luck again on ebay.
