Anyone know why id get a new login appear called "Other..."

When i click on it it asks me to complete name AND password ... which i dont know ofcourse.

When i check the Mac HD Users there is no "Other..." user data etc.

The only thing ive been messing with is public folder names and i havent been to any dodgy sites etc.

Is there a simple explanation and fix for this?

thanks

It's simply there to allow you to log in as root. I have it set up on mine. It's not there by default, however. You must have accidentally checked the option to allow you to log in as root.

There may be other explanations, but that's one reason.
