New lower end Macbook v older Blackbook

Hello I would like some quick input. I'm sure many of you will find the answer quite intuitive but I as a potential switcher would appreciate the advice.

So which one?
Blackbook with 2.4 processor and 2 gigs of ram, or the lower end new Macbook (the one with the new casing and such).

Right now i'm leaning towards the Blackbook because of the superior processing power, matte screen, and the large price drop.

I don't really game much, I'll use it for photoshop here and there and music software such as Ableton Live. I would also like my purchase to last me at least 2-3 years.

Can someone please give me a push in any direction? Thanks.

superior proc power? dont buy into the ghz is the only measure of speed...

the new ones have a faster fsb, faster ram, etc
