not an affiliate link and I have no association with the company, but I've been using them with my space grey MM2 since last year and they've been a game changer ergonomically

it may ruin the colored aesthetic of the mouse (ymmv) but if you aren't happy with your thumb and pinky wrapping around the inward shaped aluminum, give it a whirl! May be pleasantly surprised
 
I had thought of this. And still might do it. Can't live with MM and it's low profile so I bought Logitech Triathlon and DLd Options so I can do forward and backward using buttons. I also don't like how the MM feels when I click. Something to do with the odd runners it uses as glide pads and how it feels out of balance when the button is depressed. I kinda get how the mouse needs to be flat for the gestures but I think the thing could be implemented better.
