After being on for several hours my new M1 Mac mini has keyboard buffer issues. It lags horribly and then over runs keystrokes.
A restart fixes the problem but it returns after a few hours on. Only light keyboard input and it is used mostly for point and click.

What keyboard are you using, Apple's or third party? If you are using Logitech I can recommend using the Logitech dongle/reciever. I am NOT using BT, as others have reported BT issues with the M1s.

This is using an older Apple 2 cell bluetooth keyboard.
Oh, the battery version then. Maybe it it too old too work well with the M1 then?

Update: I'm seeing posting that people are even having problems with the newest Apple BT keyboards. FYI I've been using the Logitech MX 3 keyboard and mouse with the Logitech USB dongle/reciever. In the three days I've owned the MacMini, playing with it for hours, I've had not problems with keyboard/mouse connection. Note I am not using any other BT devices on the M1 MacMini.

I hope Apple finds a solution to BlueTooth problems that seem to be common in the M1 computers!
