Earlier I was running multiple apps, VSCode locally but connected to a GitHub codespace, Safari, Music.
My network detected a new device that I didn't recognize and automatically quarantined it; I whitelist everything. I looked at the private MAC address settings on multiple devices because the device name was something I didn't recognize either, and couldn't find any matches.
Apple Music connection died, as well as my codespace connection, but Safari kept working, I assume due to going through Private Relay, so it was obviously my Mac.
I ran networksetup -listallhardware in terminal and the MAC wasn't there either.
On my network endpoint, the only outbound connection attempts were to Apple servers, I think it was mask.icloud.com but I don't have the logs now so can't confirm.
Did Private relay just freak out due to VSCode? I really am at a loss understanding what the hell happened.
