Ok to start with this is my first mac (iMac 27"), so be gentle. I do

I have a Qnap NAS with a photos, mp3s and some video. Historically I have kept the photos music and video on there.

Now what I plan on doing is moving the photos and music into the shared directory on the imac. They aren't really accessed from any other device but I will have multiple accounts on the mac. Videos will stay on NAS as they are.

I then want to do two things;

Remove the duplicate photos, organise them, what app is best? (18,000 photos :().

I would like to import the mp3s but I fear they aren't the best ID3 tags, is there a good tagger for the mac?

Then I want to setup time machine to backup the photos/music back to the NAS.

If someone could advise if this makes sense then that would be great.

edit - I meant to ask, how will recreating itunes with newly tagged mp3s effect my itunes match? Can I clear my itunes match and essentially start fresh?
