I've been watching the refurb store like a hawk waiting for Mac minis to come back. They sell out fast! As luck would have it, work kept me up late tonight and I happened to look just after the store was updated.

I just snagged a mini 2.0GHz C2D, 1 GB RAM, 120 GB hard drive, and superdrive for $680 less my $100 iPhone credit. What's more, the machine comes preinstalled with Leopard. I haven't made the jump to 10.5 on my 12" PB G4, the machine being replaced.

Well, not replaced. I'm keeping my trusty 12" (hey-o) for school and travel. Afterall, it's still the smallest laptop Apple ever made. But I am looking forward to my first Intel Mac and to play around with 10.5. (mostly time machine, i hate backups)

Is FedEx here with my new machine yet?

Actually I think that the Duo Dock laptops were the smallest that Apple ever made (unless you include my iPhone or a Newton).

Enjoy the Mini. They are fantastic.
