...I'm looking at the high end Mac Mini, and also looking to maybe order it to the 2.26ghz spec. Would this model be okay for running FCP, or any 3D apps? :confused:
 
It might run FCP adequately IF you have an external FW800 scratch disk. If you plan on using the internal drive you are going to get drop outs galore.

As for 3D, no. For 3D you need are REAL video card, not integrated.

You are better off getting a refurb or clearanced iMac.

Get a 7200RPM internal hard drive and FCP will be fine. And actually, get the cheaper model and then get the hard drive and 4GB of RAM. It's cheaper than buying the more expensive one and it will have better specs.
