I should probably just get on with getting this to market
... but looking at the new Mac Pro case design, I can't help but wonder how long it will be before someone makes a replacement cover for this Mac Pro?
One could fairly easily make a rectangular replacement cover out of a similar black aluminum that kept the cooling and I/O panel open (as with the stock cover) but adding a complete set of drive bays out the front. The whole cover could have it's own power connection (if necessary) and connect to the cylindrical Mac Pro via a short TB cable at the back. This would keep clutter to a minimum and provide plenty of potential expansion options.
