new mac

i been on windows since i was young i got my macbook must be about 6 months ago.

then i got this system below
Q6600
2x2GB Ram
400GB Seagate
7600GT
1000W PSU

built it myself for games (still waiting on 9900GTX) i will be keeping this connected to my 40inch HDTV for games

im looking to get the mac pro because im fed up of various problems im getting with my hardware

mac pro its for internet,emails and general usage and slowly take over as my gaming pc.

i may need windows depends on how well games run on mac (css mainly) but i play a lot of games

budget - max £3000

Will new mac pro be out by then?
esimate would do.

i can't decide to buy 2x24 or 1x30 for the mac pro ( probs buy soon)


any rumours on new mac pros or upgrades?

Not sure about your post as a whole but Counter Strike:Source is relatively low graphics game...I can run it on my Macbook, even.

On that note, though, 1.6 is better than Source

Well, what do you do besides gaming?

Driving a 2560 x 1600 display is going to strain most graphic cards when it comes to newer games, whereas a 1920 x 1200 resolution is more forgiving.

i must admit i did like using my 22inch samsung and macbook screen in dual screen mode

im currentlly using 40inch HDTV and 2inch HDTV on my current pc
