Ok folks, I am new to the Macbook world. I just bought my first macbook pro and I am looking for assistance. Are there any startup guides for users coming from Windows?

Also, how do I check battery cycles and other system information? I notice users on here post how many cycles have been used on their battery and other system resources. How do I access that?

What kind of cool utilities can I get for this macbook?
