Hi!

My girlfriend just bought new MacBook Air (with Lion OS X already installed) and she has iLife preinstalled on it (as every new Mac). I was wondering: if I log in to my App Store account, can I assign the iLife suite to my account? I already have iPhoto (I bought it) but no GarageBand or iMovie so if there's a way to get them tied to my account for free, that would be great!

Is there a way to do that? :D

In the mac app store on your mac, you need to go to Store in the menubar and sign out. Let her sign in after that and she should be able to re-download the apps.

Ahh, now I get it. Sorry for that ;)

Thanks a lot! Resolved.

Wow, nice loop hole!

Wonder if they limit download to a number of computers?
(or we'll be seeing user name and passwords on the pirate sites?!)
