I'm thinking about buying a new macbook. I'm not very enamored with aluminum, plus the earlier version, the white plastic one, can be had much cheaper now. Is there any reasons not to go with the plastic?

i believe the 9400M is also integrated... its also part of the chipset i thought

IMO the only reasons to avoid the plastic, besides the fact that it is plastic (compared to the unibody frame it sucks) is the lack of firewire and the increased price.

In fact, if it had firewire and a better screen I would get one as a primary laptop. Since it does not I would only have one as a secondary laptop.
