Just got these from the french mac website, Macbidouille. They claimed to have recieved and anonymous emails with the specs....just wanted to throw it out there to see what you guys think.

Seems a little reasonable. There could be a BTO option to go to 2.6Ghz on the MBPs

Macbook - 13" 2.1GHz / 1GB / 120GB / Combo/ white
Macbook - 13" 2.4GHz / 2GB / 160GB / Super / white
Macbook - 13" 2.4GHz / 2GB / 250GB / Super / black

Macbook Pro - 15" 2.4GHz / 2GB / 200GB 5400RPM / 256Mo Vram
Macbook Pro - 15" 2.5GHz / 2GB / 250GB 5400RPM / 512Mo Vram
Macbook Pro - 17" 2.5GHz / 2GB / 250GB 5400RPM / 512Mo Vram

this doesnt seem right to me...

why is there a 500 dollar difference between a 13.3" and a 15.4" screen?

edit: besides that graphics card.

nevermindddddddddd

If they do a nice little incremental upgrade like that, I won't be mad at ALL. I got my 2.2Ghz w/ SuperDrive and 2.5GB RAM for less than 1050 USD from Apple Refurb.

Combo really needs to go.

I've had my MacBook 2GHz (upgraded to 160GB HD, 2GB Ram) for 2 years in October and was hoping to upgrade to the the latest spec MacBook this October but they've barely changed. I was hoping to have a much better GPU for example. I really think Apple needs to look what Dell are offering with there laptops and try and give us something similar and not just larger hard drives.

they were right!

Well looks like those specs were right! Looks, this french website (Macbidouille) has just upped its reputation.
