you might try looking at this thread - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/584475/ - for more updates on the cover. are you also facing the same problem that many people around here are related to the battery cover that gets loose once its 'opened'?

not really, mine was a little lop sided and i tried to fix it, when I did I bend it a little too much ad the front end curled up making a really ugly mark on the front when I but the cover back on. I'm just looking for a replacement and wondering once apple stores have them in stock how much would I have to pay in order to get this one part. Hopefully its not too much.
