My new 2.4ghz MacBook arrived today and while i was setting it up atone point the screen went black with random stripes of colors where normally the bar at the top of the screen is showing up. So i forced a reboot and my mac wouldn't start and made several quite low pitch bleeping noises. So i took the battery out and put it back in and restarted and it booted up normally. I then played around with it for about an hour and closed the lid, when i opened the it again the screen stayed black and would not come out of sleep mode so i forced another shutdown and once again i had the same bleeping noises and had to remove the battery for the macbook to start up again. Anybody experienced similar problems? if so what did you do about it?
