Anyone else have this problem? It is brand new and I hope it just needs "breaking in", but it seems that the slot for the drive is too tight and the disk gets pushed back in each time I try to eject. The only times I have been successfull is if I stick a paperclip or something thin into the drive while ejecting.

Thanks.

Anybody else like verbs?

But while I have never had this problem I must admit I'm not crazy about how aggressively my macbook takes in discs... or how noisily it ejects them.

That shouldn't be happening. I have an iMac with the slot load drive and it has never done this and I had a 5 year old Powerbook with a slot load drive and never had issues with ejecting discs. I would highly recommend having that looked at if you are nearby an Apple store.

Thanks - I will take it in. Hate to have to give it up since I just got the thing. Hopefully they can fix it quickly.
