New Macbook, how to transfer files?

Is there a way to just transfer music, pictures, and documents? Or do I have to basically transfer everything from my old comp to new comp?

Mac or PC?

Mac - use migration assistant.

PC - I'd put the important stuff on an external drive and then copy it over manually, but that's just me.

Mac to Mac. How many photos/songs/docs can I put on a 2gig memory stick?

Not a whole lot - you might be better burning DVDs at 4 GB each.

Well my computer says I only have 323 pictures, about 50 docs, and 50 songs? What should I do? I have two 2gb memory jump drives. Should I just use those?
