new macbook - loud noise from cd drive

when i put a dvd into my new macbook it has to go about 80% in until it catches and brings the rest in and then it makes a LOUD clicking noise.

i can actually feel it through the keyboard when it happens.

is this normal? or should i bring it back?

All perfectly normal. dont worry, its just the disc clicking in before it gets ready to spin. Also you will push the disc almost all the way in before the drive accepts.

listem to those. its most probably perfectly normal, its just because its a slot loading drive.

if it doesn't sound like then i'd get it checked out, but im guessin it will

Slot load drives make some horrendous noises. My iMac has screamed some pretty terrible sounding things at me.
