Hi everyone,

I recently purchased the new macbook over the holidays and i have had a few problems. I've noticed that the sleep function is not consitent when clicking the touchpad or the computer will not even wake up from the sleep mode at times. However, the big issue is connecting to the internet. It will not connect to the wireless network and constantly prompts me to check the diagnostics. If I am lucky to get connected, it only keeps me online for a few seconds before timing out again. I know there is no problem with our internet since the other macs in the household are connecting to the Airport just fine and are functioning properly. Any advice would be great!

Try moving closer to the router to see if it can connect from there. I think the new aluminum Macbooks are supposed to have slightly less good wifi reception than the previous generation.
