New Macbook not waking up from sleep

A family members new "glassbook" has had this problem a couple of times. Upon waking up from normal sleep the screen doesn't turn on, nor does the caps lock light work. The sleep light does turn solid though, and it makes the normal hard drive waking up from sleep sounds. Also it only happens sometimes, not every time waking up from sleep.

I guess we'll just take it to an Apple store soon..

Anyone else had this problem?

Don't worry, it's not a serious problem...mine did that too. It could be that you're using the iStat Pro widget.

Try:

1. disable iStat Pro
or
2. reset PRAM --> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
or
3. do the shithe on this page --> http://www.windley.com/archives/2007/10/fixing_macbook_pro_sleep_problems.shtml
