I should have asked this a while ago. Would you rather get a brand new low-end macbook with no build-to-order options or completely max out a 1.33 Ghz G4 powerbook? (7200 rpm HDD, 1.25 ghz ram...)

Macbook, but if its the low end one, I'd have to get an external DVD burner...

I must have the most macs on here, I buy a new one every few months, i have had 3 macbooks and all the powerbooks, myself for my needs the macbook is perfect for my needs, the powerbook was soo hot, I am buying another next week:rolleyes:

$$$

i would say the answer is based on price.

if you could get a maxed out PB for say $500, i'd choose it over the macbook. otherwise, not.

There really isnt a point in buying a powerbook at this point in the game unless you just love PPC. Go for the Macbook

I already own the powerbook. 12" screen and 1.33 Ghz G4. I just want to know if i should keep it and massively upgrade it or get a macbook. (I need to keep the powerbook anyway.)

Yeah, but you wouldn't believe what people are paying for PB-G4's on Craigslist. I sold a 15'' 1.25GHz one for $750. Macs definitely hold their value well.
